A Group Personal Accident policy is a type of insurance coverage offered to a group of people, usually as a corporate program. The coverage will provide benefit to the individual or beneficiaries if the covered individual is permanently disabled or dies during the defined insurance covered period resulting from accidental death, disability and injuries.
The policy is also designed to provide coverage on a 24 hours and worldwide basis and are usually ended to cover medical expenses arising out of accidents.
