CLAIMS SUPPORT AND CONSULTING SERVICES

With the rapid growth of the insurance market, and numerous issues surrounding the lack of resources to handle and resolve insurance claims in an equitable and satisfactory manner, by recognising these difficulties that many Clients and Insureds' face, AEGIS in partnership with Tri & Associates, is offering for the first time in Vietnam professional insurance claims support, arbitration, litigation and consulting services. A Specialist Unit has been established and specifically resourced to assist you, your company when faced with the daunting tasks of negotiating, seeking reimbursements or disputes on insurance related claims.

This Special Unit and it's team members are highly qualified and have combined experience of over 50 years in the legal and insurance industry, both locally and overseas, and carry the following critical credentials to support our Clients:-

  • Our team of insurance professionals have in depth experience within the insurance industry that spans financial and operational facets of underwriting, policy administration, claims processes, and third-party involvement including in-house counsels, loss adjusters, loss assessors and forensic accounting. The team also assist the legal profession in many aspects of large, complex domestic and international claims involving differing parties and interests and across industries.
  • Our team of legal professionals including leading local lawyers and vetted partners from major firms in New York, London and Singapore, have full understandings of arbitration and court proceedings, provision of expert analysis and testimony to support you.

Our claims support and consulting services have been developed, as a bespoke service, for our Clients who are facing significant difficulties in trying to pursue and resolve their insurance claims and would like to seek professional advice both from an insurance technical analysis and legal perspectives. In view of the high costs associated with delays, time and effort in pursuing these insurance claims without professional support it is recommended that you seek expert help to best decide what strategy to implement and tasks that needs to be done to facilitate equitable and economical resolution prior to involving costly arbitration and other legal avenues.

In addition, insurance policies commonly include industry specific technical terms, coverages, exclusions, conditions and limitations which may be extremely difficult to fully grasp or understand thus our team will utilize our vast experience, expertise and knowledge in regard to coverage and policy terms interpretations to provide much needed analysis in ensuring that our clients’ and their insurance policies, no matter how complex, are broken down and technically understood.

  • Assessment of claims quantum payment assumptions and models, investigation and analysis of triggering events and damage valuation
  • Assist, consult in the development of litigation strategies 
  • Assist in organization and management of all insurance arbitration and litigation documentation
